Concrete & Masonry

6 TOOLS

Volume, rebar, block, brick, and mortar takeoffs.

ABOUT THESE TOOLS

Concrete is unforgiving of takeoff errors — order short and the pour cold-joints, order long and you eat the overage. These calculators cover the quantities that make or break a pour and a wall: cubic yards for slabs, footings, and columns (with bag counts for small pours), rebar count, length, and weight from spacing and grid size, block and brick counts with courses from wall dimensions, mortar and grout bags for bed joints and cell fill, and combined concrete-plus-rebar takeoffs for continuous and pad footings.

Structural requirements come from ACI 318 for reinforced concrete and TMS 402/602 for masonry, flowing down through the IBC and IRC — cover, bar size, spacing, and grout schedule come off your drawings, and these tools turn those specified layouts into order quantities. Standard planning figures like 1.125 standard CMU per square foot of wall and typical waste allowances are built in where they apply. Everything is free, browser-based, and login-free, so the takeoff can happen at the truck or the plan table.
